The Inn at Shady Lawn is an iconic fixture in the Newland and Avery County communities. For over 65 years, the Ray family provided hospitality to travelers visiting or just passing through our gorgeous area. In December of 2021, Nathan Gittner acquired The Inn at Shady Lawn with a bold vision and plans of continuing and expanding the Ray family’s legacy of hospitality.
