Ensemble Stage

Ensemble Stage is a 501 (c)3 professional live theater organization which produces staged productions in its 99 seat theatre located in the Hahn Auditorium of the Banner Elk Cultural Arts Center. Each year Ensemble Stage brings in professional actors, designers and technicians to perform and work on our stage.

Our season runs from June thru December with a wide genre selection of plays. We also have a week-long theatre camp for kids, ages 7-13, every summer. As well as a show for young audiences that is presented on various Saturdays at 11am throughout the summer.

In October we present a live staged radio play with a Halloween theme as an homage to the golden days of radio where all the sound effects are performed live on stage.

December has our Holiday Musical Variety Show that pays tribute to the TV Holiday specials of the 60’s and 70’s.
