After Hours Recap

Categories: Chamber Update

Thank you to everyone who came out last night to our after-hours event. We had a fantastic evening hosted by Kettell Beerworks and the High-Country United Way. Our hosts treated us to a fun filled evening of brewery tours, delicious food, great company, and some amazing raffle prizes. We were able to raise $480 towards our Avery County Schools Scholarship fund which is now totaling at $2,860!

We had an impressive showing of over 60 members and guests from around the county including representation from Carolina Mountain Life Magazine, Kiwanis Club of Banner Elk, Lees-McRae College, Mayland Community College, Mountain Community Bank, Structall Building Systems, and VPC Builders to name a few!

Having a bit of FOMO? Don’t worry, if you missed then go pay a visit to our friends at Kettel Beerworks to see what all of the buzz is about! Also, make sure to check out all of the amazing work that High Country United Way is doing in Avery County as well as servicing Ashe, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancy.

Make sure you register for our next event on Tuesday 9/23 partnering with the Banner Elk Chamber and hosted by Signature Wealth Strategies and OASIS.

As always, thank you to our Avery County Chamber team who works diligently to bring these events to life!
