Welcome to The Tin Trout! An eclectic mountain restaurant that enjoys a creek side setting, casual indoor dining, in the garage room or the back porch. We love serving you traditional favorites, in the creative hands of Chef Kirsten Mitchell. Kirsten has been featured in many publications and is one of North Carolina’s most coveted chefs. Training under her father at “Morels” restaurant, Kirsten grew up in the kitchen, her passion for food is unique and shows in every dish she creates. Innovative menus are created with the love of our local favorites that include off the farm freshness, seasonal and creative dishes. Home cooking and comfort food, done right and from scratch.
This fantastic restaurant is nestled on 176 Maple Street, Crossnore, North Carolina. Serving both lunch and dinner, they are open Tuesday-Saturday. Lunch is served from 11 am – 2 pm and dinner is served from 5 pm – 8 pm.
